The Kent County Water Authority on Sunday will begin a round of hydrant flushing, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day, in Coventry, Cranston, West Warwick, Warwick and Scituate.
The Hope section of Scituate will be flushed, along with the Fiskeville and Oaklawn neighborhoods in Cranston. In West Warwick, the area between the Warwick line and the Coventry line from the Cranston town line toward East Greenwich Avenue will be flushed.
All neighborhoods in Coventry will be flushed, except the south and western areas boarded by West Greenwich and East Greenwich.
The flushing will last through the morning of Oct. 10, depending on weather and system conditions, according to the agency.
