Protesting healthcare budget cuts

Brown University medical school students were at the State House yesterday to protest proposed healthcare cuts. The Health Care Organizing Project, a group of doctors, nurses and medical students, criticized the proposed supplemental budget plan to cut 9,000 from RIte Care as “fiscally short-sighted and dangerous to families and the state’s ailing health care system."
