PROVIDENCE — A man who was found dead, slumped behind the wheel of a Rent-A-Center truck in Olneyville, was identified by the police yesterday as Robert Webster, 61, no permanent address.
Maj. Stephen Campbell said an autopsy was performed yesterday on Webster, who he said had a medical condition, and that the police are awaiting the results. He said no foul play is suspected.
The truck was parked in a lot at 55 Hartford Ave., at the Rent-A-Center store, when the body was discovered at about 8 p.m. Thursday. The police said Webster did not have permission to be in the truck.
