A Providence grand jury indicted three men on charges of first-degree sexual assault in connection with the assault of a 24-year-old woman during a party in Pawtucket last year.

The victim, who is from Massachusetts, was at a birthday party on Garden Street in Pawtucket when she was led out to a hallway and was allegedly sexually assaulted by three men, according to Detective. Lt. Daniel Mullen.

The three men are said to have allegedly assaulted the woman between March 9 and 10, 2006, knowing she was physically helpless, according to the office of the attorney general. The woman knew the men, the police said.

Spencer Ward, 24, of Petteys Avenue, Providence; Kenneth Sakor, 21, of 197 Garden St., Pawtucket; and Alaba Sobowale, 46, of 79 Ivan St., North Providence, will be arraigned in Superior Court Feb. 7 on one count each of first-degree sexual assault, the police said.
