PAWTUCKET — A convenience store was robbed at knifepoint yesterday and the police say that they are investigating similarities between that robbery and several others in the city.
At 2:28 p.m., a man armed with a knife entered the A&I Convenience Store at 191 Pawtucket Ave. and demanded money from a female clerk. The clerk gave him an undetermined amount of cash and he fled. The police described the robber as about 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was wearing a gray flannel shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Donti Rosciti at (401) 277-9100, extension 737.
