FOUNDRY ARTISTS SHOW: The annual Foundry Artists Show will be held at the Pawtucket Armory, 172 Exchange St., with a gala opening night Dec. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring music and refreshments. The show runs from Dec. 4 through 7 and Dec. 11 through 14; Fridays from noon to 8 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Thursday, Dec. 11, from noon to 8 p.m.
SKATING EXHIBITION: The Pawtucket & Providence Figure Skating Club will hold its annual Holiday Exhibition, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. at the Lynch Arena, 25 Andrew Ferland Way. The exhibition will feature solo and group performances by club members. The Club’s Ocean State Ice Theatre will debut their rendition of “Annie”. Admission is free, but donations are being accepted at the door. Proceeds will be donated to the Holidays Gifts for Teens Campaign, which benefits teenagers who are in the custody of DCYF.
WINTER WONDERLAND: Slater Memorial Park will host a Winter Wonderland with festive miniature displays of a winter “holiday village,” Dec. 6 and 7, and Dec. 12 and 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. The event will feature miniature train rides, hay rides, Santa, activities for children, carousel rides, Paws and Mrs. Sox, and a giant talking snowman. The tree lighting ceremony will be held Dec. 6 from 4 to 5 p.m., with Santa arriving by fire truck. For more information, call (401) 728-0500, ext. 252.
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA: Blackstone Valley Tourism Council will sponsor a Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 6 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Ground Round in the Comfort Inn, 2 George St. This is a full breakfast buffet. WINTERTIME FARMER’S MARKET: Farm Fresh RI will hold a wintertime farmers’ market on Saturdays, Dec. 6 through April 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hope Artiste Village, 1005 Main St. Among the offerings will be holiday wreaths and trees, and winter produce. OPEN HOUSE AND CHRISTMAS TEA: Woodlawn Baptist Church, 337 Lonsdale Ave., will host an open house and Christmas tea, Dec. 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. The event will feature festive music, tea, light sandwiches, and pastry. There is no charge for this event. For more information, call (401) 724-6390.
CHRISTMAS SOIREE: Le Foyer, 151 Fountain St., will host a Christmas Soiree, Dec. 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. Entertainment will be the Les Gais Chanteurs, a variety of French Canadian musicians, singing, dancing, and the Quadrilles with ‘The French Roast’ and Friends. The event will also include food, a Christmas basket raffle and split the pot. The cost is $15 per person; $25 per couple; and $8 for high school students.
