North Smithfield Public Library, 20 Main St., will host a Romance Novel Discussion Group meeting Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m. The group will discuss “The Proposition” by Judith Ivory. Participants must read the book before the meeting. New members are welcome.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit the library Dec. 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bring a camera. Children can make free holiday ornaments from 6 to 7 p.m.
