NORTH PROVIDENCE — Four men were arrested on disorderly conduct charges in separate incidents over the holiday weekend.
On Friday, George Tracy Jr., 46, of 200 Central St., Central Falls, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct after a disturbance outside his father’s apartment at 170 Waterman Ave.
The man’s father and a neighbor said the man, who appeared intoxicated, was yelling that he was going to kill his father.
Inside the cell block, the police said, Tracy repeated the threat several times.
Bail commissioner Richard Finnegan ordered Tracy to the Adult Correctional Institutions after setting bail at $5,000.
On Saturday, the police arrested Todd D. Bryant, 45, of 44 Lydia Ave., on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and refusal to relinquish the phone.
The police said that when they arrived at Bryant’s home around 10:50 p.m. Friday, they found his wife standing in the driveway with a kitchen knife, which she said she grabbed from the kitchen for self-defense.
She told the police she and her husband at been at a party earlier in the day in North Smithfield, where he became intoxicated.
She said when they arrived home, she began to pack her belongings and he grabbed her by the throat. She said that when she attempted to call the police, he smashed the phone on the ground before fleeing the scene.
After being taken to headquarters, Bryant complained of chest pains and was taken to Fatima Hospital. On his return to the station Saturday afternoon, Finnegan issued a no-contact order and released him on $1,000 personal recognizance.
Also Saturday, the police arrested Nicholas Marshall, 22, of 2008 Mineral Spring Ave., on a warrant for disorderly conduct.
Marshall’s former employer, Anthony Costanzo, had reported in April that he had received a phone call from Marshall, whom he had fired for allegedly stealing, in which Marshall threatened him if he didn’t get his final check. Finnegan released Marshall on $1,000 personal recognizance.
In other police activity, Justin Bilyj told the police Sunday that someone broke into his car at 45 Lookout Ave., and made off with an iPod and a GPS system.
Adam DiIorio, 24, of 81 Atwood Ave., Pawtucket, was sent to the ACI after being arrested behind the Walgreens pharmacy on Charles Street Friday on a charge of failing to comply with the terms of his probation.
