NORTH PROVIDENCE — A 61-year-old motorcyclist was injured Monday night when his cycle collided with a car emerging from the Stop & Shop parking lot on Mineral Spring Avenue.
Michael Chartier, of Blackstone, Mass., initially refused medical treatment but was taken to Our Lady of Fatima Hospital after complaining of chest pains.
The driver of the car, Bethanie Giorgi, 28, of Pawtucket, said that when she came out of the parking she was blinded by the sun.
