Kent County grand jury indicts 6 in pair of Warwick robberies

A Kent County grand jury on Tuesday handed up indictments against six people in connection with two unrelated robberies in Warwick.
Indicted for their alleged roles in an incident on June 7, the attorney general’s office reported, were John J. Hartman, 28, of 47 Lincoln Ave. in Cranston, and Eric Populus, 24, of 35 Goff Ave. in Pawtucket. Each faces charges of first-degree robbery and conspiracy.
Indicted for a March 29 incident, the office said, were Warwick residents Joseph Negri, 19, of 111 Oak Tree Ave., and Destinee M. Pimental, 23, of 1084 Toll Gate Rd., and North Providence residents Stephen J. LePage, 19, of 8 Greystone Ave., and Jessie Marinaro, 17, of 6 Greystone Ave. All four are charged with conspiracy, and all but Pimental faceone count of first-degree robbery.
All six named in the indictments were being held in the Adult Correctional Institutions pending arraignment Friday in Kent County Superior Court.
