Rosary Novena for Life: The 18th annual Rosary Novena for Life continues every Saturday through June 7 with a concelebrated Mass at 7 a.m. at St. Paul Church, corner of Broad Street and Warwick Avenue, Cranston.

Temple Beth-El: Ambassador Dennis Ross, U.S. Middle East envoy, will speak on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Temple Beth-El, 70 Orchard Ave.

Ross is counselor and the Ziegler distinguished fellow of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

Anniversary celebration: The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 99 Camp St., will celebrate its 125th anniversary and the feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday. Bishop Thomas Tobin will preside over a Mass at 10:30 a.m., and coffee will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. There will be a dinner/dance at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick at 6 p.m.

Benefit performance: A benefit performance of Fiddler on the Roof to support the National Cathedral Association of Rhode Island will be held Thursday, June 5, at 8 p.m. at the Players playhouse, 400 Benefit St.

Prayer group: Franciscan Missionaries of Mary Chapel, 399 Fruit Hill Ave., North Providence, offers a prayer group for families on Tuesdays at 5 p.m.

Chapel Gallery: Mathewson Street United Methodist Church’s Chapel Gallery, 134 Mathewson St., will present “Old Friends, New Visions,” a group exhibit of painting, photography and sculpture by Edward Lyman-Rondeau, Terrence J. Boylan and Richard Grant, from June 1 to 28.

A Gallery Night reception and concerts will be held June 19 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Rondeau has worked for 50 years as a visual artist but only recently shifted to sculpture from years as an actor, director, scenic designer and set builder.

Grant has been painting for 45 years in oil and watercolor. His work is abstract.

Boylan has been creating photographic images for more than 20 years, telling stories about cities and people. His day jobs as an English teacher, professor and school administrator have taken him from New York City through Rhode Island to the Cape.

Yard sale: The St. Vincent de Paul Society at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus will hold a yard sale on Saturday, June 7 (rain date, Saturday, June 14), from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the church grounds, 99 Camp St.

Furniture, household goods, clothing, toys and more will be for sale. Proceeds will benefit St. Vincent de Paul’s food pantry, which is open twice a month, and other charities throughout the year.

St. Patrick Church: The church will hold its annual parish tent revival Friday, May 30, to Sunday, June 8, in the parking lot, 244 Smith St. The revival starts at 7 p.m. on Friday with bilingual praise and worship, featuring Joan Sanchez and Rio Poderoso from the Bronx, N.Y.

Saturday will feature five Spanish ministries from 3 to 10 p.m. — Restauracion of St. Charles Church, Providence; Alumbrasmiento Juvenil of New Bedford; Pierre Guitierrez of Guatemala; Rio Poderoso; and Doble Uncion of St. Patrick Church.

The speaker for Sunday, June 1, at 7 p.m. will be the Rev. John Randall, pastor emeritus of St. Charles Church, with music provided by the Congdon Street Baptist Church Choir, directed by Melody Forest.

On Monday, June 2, at 7 p.m., the speaker will be the Rev. Matthew Glover, associate pastor, St. Luke Church, Barrington, with music provided by the Ebenezer Baptist Church Choir, directed by Earl Bright.

Speaking on Tuesday, June 3, at 7 p.m., will be evangelists Pat and Don Turbitt. Turbitt is a Catholic lay minister for Renewal Ministries and the diocesan coordinator of the R.I. Men of St. Joseph. Music will be provided by Holy Apostles Life Teen Choir, Cranston.

The presentation on Wednesday, June 4, at 7 p.m. will be in Spanish, led by the group Doble Uncion, from the church. The presentation on Thursday, June 5, will feature a night for youths and adults. The speaker will be Pat Kane, director of the Rejoice in Hope Youth Center, Cranston, with music by the St. Patrick Church Music Ministry, directed by Silvio Cuellar.

Friday, June 6, at 7 p.m. will feature the music and ministry of Pierre Guiterrez of Guatemala.

The revival will conclude on Sunday, June 8, with a healing service from 3 to 5 p.m., led by Barbara Wright of St. Patrick Church.
