Renewable energy discussed: The Cross’ Mills Public Library, 4417 Old Post Rd., Charlestown, will host a meeting of the local Renewable Energy Group, Monday at 7 p.m.

Tribal meeting: The Wiquapaug Eastern Pequot Tribe will conduct its annual tribal gathering, for members and guests, Saturday at the home of Chief Byron O. Brown -- whose Indian name is Sun Rise -- at 39 Bradford Rd., Bradford. The event will include a silent auction, turkey dinner at 4 p.m., and election of officers. For information, call 377-4332.

Bridge clubs: The South County Bridge Club organizes games of duplicate contract bridge each Thursday night at 6:30 at the Neighborhood Guild, 325 Columbia St., Peace Dale. Niemi leads supervised bridge sessions the second and fourth Saturday of the month, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Cross’ Mills Public Library, 4417 Old Post Rd., Charlestown. Players of all levels are welcome. Bridge games are played each Monday at 1 p.m.
