“Through the Eyes of a Soldier” is free and open to the public through Dec. 10 at the University Gallery at Salve Regina University. The gallery is in Miley Hall, at the corner of Lawrence and Leroy avenues. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday and 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Two special events are planned at the gallery during the exhibit. From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, John F. Quinn, chairman of Salve’s history department, will give a presentation, “From Isolation to Intervention: America’s Changing Course.”
On Dec. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., the gallery will host a ceremony, featuring guest speakers, to recognize the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
