Oil/sustainability meeting: The Kettle Pond Visitor Center, 50 Bend Rd., Charlestown, will host a community meeting on peak oil/sustainability, Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. On the agenda are discussions of Westerly’s Peak Oil Task Force, a South Kingstown community garden, a general discussion of southern Rhode Island’s future, and a screening of the film A Crude Awakening. Bridge clubs: The South County Bridge Club organizes games of duplicate contract bridge each Thursday night at 6:30 at the Neighborhood Guild, 325 Columbia St., Peace Dale.
