Fundraising walk: A 5K walk to support The Lori Diamantino Intravascular Lymphoma Fund will be held Sunday at 9 a.m. at Johnston Memorial Park. The 3.1-mile walk will include food, music, entertainment and children’s activities. For more information or to sign up for the walk, visit www.care5.org.
Fall Festival: The Bridge at Cherry Hill Assisted Living, 1 Cherry Hill Rd., will host a Fall Festival, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include holiday crafts, candles, gift baskets, jewelry and raffles. Vendors interested in participating are asked to call (401) 233-2880.
School Note
Johnston High School will host its annual open house and report night Oct. 6 at 6:30. Parents of all Johnston High School students are invited and encouraged to attend. The evening will begin with the Report Night component in the auditorium.
