Silent auction: Town Hall Lanes, 1463 Atwood Ave., is holding a silent auction as a fall fundraiser to benefit the Autism Project of Rhode Island. The auction will be held Sept. 27 to Oct. 5.

Community blood-pressure clinic: The Bridge at Cherry Hill Assisted Living, 1 Cherry Hill Rd., will host a free community blood-pressure clinic, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. For more information, call (401) 233-2880.

Fundraising walk: A 5K walk to support The Lori Diamantino Intravascular Lymphoma Fund will be held Oct. 5 at 9 a.m. at Johnston Memorial Park. The 3.1-mile walk will include food, music, entertainment, and children’s activities. For more information or to sign up for the walk visit www.care5.org.

Club Notes

St. Brigid Church, 1231 Plainfield St., will hold its annual 30-week club banquet Oct. 5 at 12:30 p.m. at the West Valley Inn in West Warwick. The event will include music, entertainment and raffles.

Manton Seniors of Johnston will meet Oct. 7 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church hall, George Waterman Road.

A day trip to the Venus de Milo to see the Oktoberfest show will be held Oct. 14. The cost is $59, and includes transportation, luncheon, and the show featuring Adam Barthalt and his polka band. The bus departs at 10:30 a.m. from Lombardi’s 1025 take-out parking lot, Plainfield Street. Nonmembers are welcome to join the Manton Seniors on all trips.
