The Jamestown Library, 26 North Rd., Jamestown, will host a talk by Lisa Palmer, entitled “Inside the Mind of a Book Reviewer,” Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.
Palmer, a freelance book reviewer for the Providence Journal, will discuss how she selects books for review and what criteria she uses when reviewing a book. She has worked as a freelance writer and editor for nine years, and is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
