EAST PROVIDENCE - East Bay Community Action’s Lead Hazard Education and Outreach Program, in cooperation with the Healthy Kids Collaborative, is offering free lead mitigation classes monthly throughout 2009. New laws require owners of rental property to attend a lead seminar prior to having their property inspected for lead hazards.
The next free three-hour Lead Mitigation Seminar is being offered Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East Bay Community Action Program, 100 Bullocks Point Ave. Registration is required and seating is limited.
