High school students receive awards

East Greenwich High School has named the 2009 National Merit Commended Students. They are: Giulia Basile, Amanda Brannigan, Charissa DiNobile, Laura Duff, Emily Gowell, James Grandpre, Marisa Haire, Rachael O’Donnelly, Allison Wein.
In addition, David Nunez has been named a 2008-09 National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar.
