The Multiple Myeloma Support Group will meet tomorrow from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Warwick Public Library, 600 Sandy Lane. The guest speaker will be registered nurse Kathleen Colson. The Better Breathers COPD Support Group will meet Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Vasa Hall, 43 Bald Hill Rd., Warwick. Donna Trinque, a respiratory therapist with the Coastal Medical group, will discuss the pulmonary function test, why your doctor orders it, and what can be learned from it.

Sargent Rehabilitation Center, 800 Quaker Lane, Warwick, will hold its monthly Aphasia Conversation Group meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Lucia Watson, a speech-language pathologist at Sargent, will facilitate the meeting. As part of its Link to Learning Parent Workshop Series, Sargent Center, 800 Quaker Lane, Warwick, will present its first program of the fall winter series Thursday, Oct. 16, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Jennifer Twachtman-Reilly, a speech-language pathologist, will present “Translating Current Language & Communication Research into Best Intervention Practice for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.” Twachtman-Reilly will describe how these deficits impact comprehension and expression, and will also offer intervention techniques. VNA of Care New England will hold a seminar on coping with the coming holiday season for anyone who has lost a loved one.
