Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island will offer a six-week bereavement support group. The group will meet on Tuesdays, Jan. 13 to Feb. 17 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. To register, and to find out the exact location of the meetings, call 401-789-5200.
A drop-in bereavement support group meets on the last Monday of every month at Atria at Harborhills, 159 Division St. No registration is required for this group.
Women & Infants Center for Health Education has announced the classes for this month.
Three yoga classes are being offered. Groups will meet on Wednesdays at 8 and 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 5:15 p.m. To register, call 401-886-4222.
An infant massage class will be held on Friday, Jan. 23, at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $30. Call the above number to register.
The popular two-day Babysitting Academy will be offered on Saturdays, Jan. 31 and Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Participants will learn first aid, child development, age appropriate games, CPR, and more. The cost is $75. Call the above number to register.
Christ Church, 1025 Main St., will offer two support groups.
Grief Support is for anyone suffering from the loss of a loved one. The group will meet on Sundays, Jan. 11 to April 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. The meetings will begin with a video featuring interviews with authors, counselors, speakers and pastors covering a variety of topics to help you deal with grief. A discussion and sharing will follow.
Divorce Care will be held on Tuesdays, beginning Feb. 3, from 7 to 8:30 pm. Each class will have a 30-40 minute video featuring experts on divorce and recovery subjects. Discussion and sharing time will follow.
