BOSTON — A group of Cumberland children who play in a Little League division for those with disabilities spent a day at Fenway Park earlier this month as part of the CVS Caremark All Kids Can Baseball Camps. The program, now in its sixth year, helps children with disabilities learn, play and succeed in life. The day at the Boston Red Sox ballpark included batting practice with Red Sox batting coach Dave Magadan; a lunch in the Red Sox dugout; a visit from Red Sox mascot Wally the Green Monster; a tour of Fenway Park; early entry to the Red Sox batting practice; and tickets to the game. There were 32 people from Cumberland who attended the day, including 13 Challenger Division players, some parents and siblings, two coaches and a couple of Little Leaguers who serve as mentors to the Challenger players. The camp was the first of seven that will run this season through Aug. 13.
