The Rhode Island Film Collaborative will present its annual 48 Hour Film Project today through Sunday, July 18-20, in the Hilton Garden Inn on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Between 7 p.m. today and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, 52 teams comprising more than 600 local filmmakers will write, act, film, edit and complete a short film. All of the films will be screened Thursday and Friday, July 24 and 25, at the Columbus Theatre in Providence. For more information, call Mike Ryan at (401) 641-1235.
Acharya Mitchell Levy will present The Three Jewels: An Exploration of the Buddhist Path tomorrow and Sunday, July 19 and 20, from 1 to 7:30 p.m. both days, at Santosha Yoga Studio, 14 Bartlett Ave., Cranston. The Three Jewels consist of the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. Levy will offer the Refuge Vow Sunday evening. The suggested donation is $125. To register, call Lucy McKenna at (401) 575-8015.

Summer Stage at Bishop Hendricken High School, 2615 Warwick Ave., Warwick, will present the musical comedy My Favorite Year on Fridays and Saturdays, July 25 and 26 and Aug. 1 and 2, at 8 p.m., and on Sunday, July 27, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, but $10 for groups of 20 or more. The Warwick Museum of Art, Post Road, will hold the opening and awards night for the “Why Go Green” photography show Saturday, July 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibit focuses on the environment and how it relates to the state. The show will run through Saturday, Aug. 26, and the gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. For more information, call (401) 737-0010.
The 18th annual TEE-m up for a Cure golf tournament, sponsored by the Jimmy Fund to benefit cancer research, will be held Monday, July 28, at the Warwick Country Club. The cost is $150, and includes golf, lunch and dinner and a gift bag. For more information, call Dick Herron at (401) 828-5130.
