Backpacks in memory of late birder Stuart Keeble will be loaned out tomorrow during Migratory Birding Day at Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge in South Kingstown.

Bird walks: Mary Jo Murray and Phil Budlong lead free bird walks each Tuesday, leaving from the Charlestown Mini-Super, on Route 1A in Charlestown, at 8 a.m. For information, call 783-9191.

Through May, Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge, on Pardon Joslin Road in Exeter, will be the site of 8 a.m. bird walks each Friday, while West Kingston’s Marion Eppley Wildlife Sanctuary hosts bird walks each Thursday at 7:30 a.m. Fees are $5 for non-members of the Audubon Society, free for members; to register, call 949-5454.

Walter Berry and Wayne Munns will lead a bird walk at Gilbert Stuart Museum, 865 Gilbert Stuart Rd., Saunderstown, tomorrow morning from 7 to 9.

Reservations, at $5, are requested, and may be made by calling 294-3001 by Thursday.

Migratory Bird Day: Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, on Matunuck Schoolhouse Road in Green Hill, will take part in “Migratory Bird Day,” an annual event celebrating migratory bird conservation, tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Included will be a live bird of prey demonstration, nature crafts, educational displays, and a guided bird walk in memory of the late Stuart Keeble, an avid birder.
