CENTRAL FALLS — The police arrested a city man Monday in connection with the stabbing of another man after the two apparently got into an argument.
The victim, Jose Diaz, 29, who was stabbed on the right side of his abdomen Monday, was in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital, according to Police Chief Joseph P. Moran III.
Arrested was Lewis Reynolds, 41, of 36 Hadwin St., on charges of assault with intent to commit a felony and obstructing an officer, Moran said.
The stabbing occurred at about 1:15 p.m., Moran said. Diaz fled the scene but officers found him hiding behind a Dumpster near Rite Aid on Broad Street, Moran said.
