Fruit and Vegetable Market: The City of Central Falls and Channel One – Central Falls will host a fruit and vegetable market, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ralph J. Holden Community Center, 361 Cowden St. The market is open to the public. Transportation is available. For more information, or to schedule transportation, call (401) 727-7425.
Broad Street Winter Festival: Blackstone Valley Tourism Council will host a Winter Festival Dec. 6 from 1 to 8 p.m. at Jenks Park, Broad Street. The free event will celebrate the holiday season, with emphasis on multi-cultural diversity.
The festival will feature live performances on two stages, art presentations, an open air market and international food court. There will also be short film presentations from local filmmakers, a visit from Santa, and a candle and lantern celebration.
A six-course International Progressive Dinner will be held Dec. 5. Tickets must be purchased in advance from the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council.
