Holiday production: Theatre Company of Rhode Island will celebrate the holiday season with “A Thurberace Christmas –– An Evening of Music and More”. The “more” in this case will include the comedy “The Eight: Reindeer Monologues”. Santa on the Town Common: The Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual “Santa on the Town Common” festivities, Dec. 6. Santa will arrive by fire truck at 1:30 p.m. Children are welcome to sit on Santa’s lap to tell him their gift wishes. A small token gift will be given to each child.
