Sports: Packed schedule this week

There’s lots of high school and middle school sports action on tap this week.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 7 p.m., the high school varsity football team plays Portsmouth for a semifinal league game.
Thursday at 6 p.m., the wrestling team takes on East Provdience and Lincoln in an injury fund game at home. The middle school wrestling team takes on Burrillville Friday at 4 p.m., also at home.
Also on Friday, the girls high school varsity ice hockey team will be in action at the West Warwick Civic Center at 9 p.m. They’re also slated to play the next day at 9 p.m. against Mount Saint Charles at the Cranston Arena. The boys team will take on Lincoln High School earlier in the evening, at 6:30 p.m., at Portsmouth Abbey.
The boys middle school basketball team plays Kickemuit tomorrow (Tuesday), Providence Country Day Wednesday, and Martin Middle School on Thursday, all at home, and all around 3 p.m.
The girls basketball team is away for their Tuesday game against Kickemuit and their Thursday game against Martin.
