Prizes were recently awarded in the Open Juried Photography Annual Exhibition which is on display through March 16 at the Helme House, in Kingston.
This year's show features 63 works by New England artists in color, black-and-white and digital photography.
Those awarded prizes by juror Darrell Matsumoto were:
Tara Switter of Providence, first place, Diwa Rudio of West Greenwich, second place, Jill Frank of Providence, third place and Eric Hovermale of Newport and Mathias Oppersdorff of Wakefield, tecnical merit awards.
Honorable mention went to Maralyn Dettmann of Kingston, John Hames of Narragansett and Kimberly Whitham of New Bedford, Mass.
