Tomorrow Tibetan Buddhists celebrate the Birthday of the Dalai Lama. His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama, was born July 6, 1935, and is in exile from Tibet.
On Wednesday, followers of the Baha’i faith will commemorate the Martyrdom of the Bab, the forerunner of their founder Baha’u’llah. The Bab and 20,000 of his followers in Persia were martyred for their beliefs during the mid-19th century.
