Interfaith panel discussion on the environment
The Rev. Craig Burlington of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, the Rev. Linda Forsberg of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Rev. Barbara Fast of the Westminster Unitarian Church, all in East Greenwich, and Rabbi Amy Levin of Temple Torat Yisrael in Cranston will participate in an environmental panel discussion titled “Keeping Faith with Creation: An Interfaith Dialogue” tomorrow from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Westminster Unitarian Church, 119 Kenyon Ave., East Greenwich.
Following the discussion, those attending may choose to participate in one of two conversations — “Reducing Your Carbon Footprint with Rhode Island Interfaith Power and Light” or “Considering Options for Interfaith Environmental Action.” Refreshments will be served. Gospel concert postponed
WLC Entertainment Group has postponed the gospel concert in celebration of Black History Month scheduled for tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Jane Pickens Theater in Newport. The concert will be rescheduled.
Lenten mission in Charlestown
St Mary’s Church in Charlestown will host a three-day Lenten Mission featuring Vincent Flynn of Mercy Song-Ministries of Healing Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck Schoolhouse Rd., Charlestown.
Flynn has been affiliated with the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Mass., and has also appeared on EWTN. Refreshments and fellowship will follow.
Bishop to preside at Stations
The Most Rev. Thomas J. Tobin, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Providence, will preside at Lenten Stations of the Cross, give a reflection and conclude with Benediction at Sacred Heart Church, 415 Olo St., Woonsocket, Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. All are invited.
Way of the Cross at La Salette
The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, 947 Park St., Attleboro, will offer Lenten Way of the Cross Fridays at 7 p.m. in the shrine church, through March 21, with the exception of Friday, March 7, when it will be held at 6 p.m.

Schola Cantorum concert
Frederick Jodry will conduct the voices of Schola Cantorum of Boston in a performance of Guillaume DuFay’s “Missa Ave Regina coelorum” along with works by Ciconia, Ockeghem and Josquin next Saturday at 8 p.m. St. Joseph’s Church, Hope and Arnold streets, Providence.
Tickets are $20, $15 for senior citizens and $8 for students, and are available at the door only. For information, call (401) 274-5073.
Lecture on the environment
Gerald Krausse, URI professor emeritus of environmental studies, will discuss “The Art of the Wild: A Perspective of a Rhode Island Film Maker” Friday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. at Christ Church, Elm Street, Westerly. Admission is free.
