BOSTON - And the one-run games keep on coming for the Red Sox. Last night marked the fourth straight game in which Boston has played a one-run game. The Sox have won two in a row from the Twins, by scores of 1-0 and 6-5, after losing a pair of one-run games to the Yankees, by scores of 2-1 and 5-4 over the weekend.
Boston is now 13-16 in such games, with a big disparity in the results home and away. The Red Sox are 11-2 at home in one-run games and only 2-14 on the road.
