Red Sox 6, Yankees 4 -- Colon rounding into shape
01:12 AM EDT on Saturday, July 5, 2008
NEW YORK -- Red Sox pitcher Bartolo Colon played catch in the outfield at Yankee Stadium yesterday and manager Terry Francona said the right-hander is doing well.
"We have to sit on him a little bit," said Francona. "We're trying to steadily build arm strength and have it go in the proper direction with no setbacks."
Colon was placed on the 15-day DL on June 17 because of a lower-back strain.
