Lowell thrives in key situations

BOSTON - Mike Lowell, who tied last night’s game with a two-run double, has thrived late in games this season. In close-and-late situations (seventh inning or later, up by a run, tied or with potential tying run on deck), Lowell is hitting .444 (16-for-36) with four doubles and 11 RBI.
