Coco Crisp packs his bags a little too early
07:11 AM EDT on Tuesday, June 3, 2008
BALTIMORE -- Red Sox outfielder Coco Crisp made an interesting exit from the clubhouse at Camden Yards after Sunday’s matinee game. He was wearing a suit and pulling his luggage. A quick glance at his locker revealed no glove or spikes, just his uniform hanging in the stall. Witnessing that one would think something was going on, maybe a trade. Truth be told, Crisp admitted yesterday he thought it was get-away day and didn’t realize this was a four-game series. He was in the starting lineup last night, and with his single in the fourth inning, he snapped a 0-for-23 skid.
