Lester will be a late arrival in Tokyo
07:20 AM EDT on Wednesday, March 19, 2008
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Even though Lester will make the trip, he will not travel with the rest of the team. The left-hander is scheduled to pitch the second regular-season game against the A’s in Tokyo, but he will first pitch a minor-league game tomorrow afternoon for Single-A Lancaster at the minor-league complex. He will join the Red Sox in Japan on Saturday.
