Boston Red Sox
Kielty to sub for Drew
07:51 AM EDT on Friday, October 12, 2007
Bobby Kielty will indeed start in right-field tonight for J.D. Drew. Kielty has enjoyed great success in his career against Sabathia (9-for-29, 4 2B, 2 homers). Drew has faced Sabathia only three times in his career and he struck out all three times he faced him in a game earlier this season.
Drew and Jacoby Ellsbury will both start the game on the bench but be available for pinch-hitting (and running) duties.
