June 19 - Is There Anything Josh Beckett Can't Do?
07:15 AM EDT on Tuesday, October 2, 2007
Beckett, the Sox' ace right-hander, smacks an RBI double against the Braves.
He's just as impressive again on the mound, blanking Atlanta on four hits over six innings in a 4-0 Boston win. Beckett improves to 10-1 en route to becoming the majors' only 20-game winner and the leading contender for the American League's Cy Young Award.
