GED exams: The Education Exchange, in the Oliver Stedman Government Center, on Route 1 in Wakefield, will administer GED exams Saturday, Nov. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Appointments are required, and may be made by calling (401) 783-0293. The fee is $55.
The adult education center offers high school equivalency programs, GED and basic education classes, English for speakers of other languages, computer and teacher aid certification, computer classes and workforce training. For information, call (401) 789-0576.
Entrepreneurial workshops: The Attleboro Area Chamber of Commerce will host two basic entrepreneurial workshops presented by South Eastern Economic Development (SEED) Corp. and Rockland Trust Community Development LLC on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the Attleboro Area Chamber of Commerce, 42 Union St., Attleboro, Mass.
The first session, “Learn the Fundamentals of Planning, Preparing For and Financing Your Business,” will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The second session, “Learn to Understand Financial Statements and How They Help Demonstrate the Health of Your Business,” will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The sessions are free.
