TOP TEAMS: RE/MAX of New England has announced the Top Teams for Rhode Island for the first quarter of 2008:

The Nathan Clark team, first; The Piantadosi team, second; the Benoit team, third and the Halliday/Scott team, fourth.

REBUILDING PROJECT: On Saturday, April 26, 20 construction technology students from two Rhode Island Career and Technical Centers took part in the annual “Rebuilding Together” program held in Providence.

The Rhode Island Builders Association (RIBA) sponsored renovations to the home of a family on Dora Street, Providence. Students from the Warwick and Woonsocket Career and Technical Centers were supervised by Brian Vadeboncoeur, a construction technology instructor who also served as the captain and volunteer coordinator. Renovations included the installation of 22 Energy Star, Low-E insulated replacement windows (10 were donated by Harvey Industries of Warwick), painting the exterior and planting flowers. Students will return to install a storm door and repoint the brick foundation.

Rebuilding Together is sustained by donations of money, time and supplies.
