New officers: The Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) has installed its 2010 officers.:
Karl Martone, of RE/MAX Properties, Smithfield, will serve as president of the 4,300-member association.
He is a long-standing member of the RIAR board of directors, past president of State-Wide MLS. He received the 2008 RIAR Realtor of the Year award.
Other officers include: president-elect, Stephen Antoni, of RE/MAX Professionals, East Greenwich; vice president, Jamie Moore, of Jamie Moore Appraisal Service, Warwick; treasurer, Victoria Doran, of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Providence; secretary, Sussy DeLeon, of RE/MAX New Horizons, Providence; and immediate past president, Paul Leys, of Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty, Newport.
Sales awards: Jamie Monello and Dave Dunne have received the Gold sales awards and Victoria Calabro, Kevin Cooney and Robin Mott have each received Bronze sales awards from EXIT Realty International for their 2009 production.
Going green: Ted Ngo, with Walsh Realty Group has received the Green designation from the National Association of Realtors.
This is the only environmental real estate designation addressing multiple specialties recognized by the National Association of Realtors.
Top selling agents: Jo-Ann Molinaro is the top selling agent at RE/MAX Professionals, East Greenwich, for the month of October.
New agents: Nedret Erbozkurt and Brenda Rebello-Reyes formerly of Veritage Realty have joined Albert Realtors/GMAC Real Estate, Cranston. New agent Nikki Gianulias has also joined the firm.
