AGENTS OF THE MONTH: Albert Realtors/GMAC Real Estate, 1050 Reservoir Ave., Cranston has named Nance Crawley as Agent of the Month in listings and sales for July.

Earl Mastarese, of Cranston, has been named sales agent and Kristin Coletti, of East Greenwich, has been named listing agent for the month of July at Bruce Allen Realtors of Cranston.

OFFICE EXPANDED: Residential Properties Ltd. has expanded its Providence office at 140 Wickenden St. The company, which owns the landmark building at Benefit and Wickenden streets, reclaimed the first floor to accommodate a growing sales force and corporate entities. Longtime tenant Benefit Street Antiques has relocated to Wickenden and Brook streets.

The expansion will additionally house the company’s new divisions including Corporate Training, RPL Commercial, and a newly formed Rentals division. The company’s longstanding Relocation division, originally located in Northern Rhode Island, will now be housed in the corporate office and joins their IT and Marketing Departments.

“I am thrilled to have the entire building occupied by the company,” said Sally E. Lapides, president and CEO of the local real estate agency. “The continued growth of the Providence office is unprecedented. We have added superb real estate professionals to our dynamic team.”

HOMEBUYER-EDUCATION CLASSES: Rhode Island Housing is offering free classes designed to offer the tools to help homebuyers make safe, informed decisions.

A Rhode Island Housing Homebuyer Education class will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. tomorrow, at the Hall Library, 1825 Broad St., Cranston.

The workshop will cover safe lending practices, qualifying for a mortgage, correcting credit problems, saving for a down payment and more.

Many graduates of Rhode Island Housing’s Homebuyer Education have qualified for the agency’s FirstHomes line of low-interest, fixed-rate mortgages. The agency’s current rates range from 5 percent to 6.25 percent, depending on household income.
