World Champion bull terrier Rufus will host the third Tea and Ulti-mutt Dog Fashion Show on Saturday, at the Kingston Congregational Church.

The dog day of spring has come. The third annual Tea and “Ulti-mutt” Dog Fashion Show, a benefit hosted by the Animal Rescue League of Southern Rhode Island, is Saturday in the Kingston Congregational Church, 2610 Kingstown Rd., Kingston. Among the participating celebrity models is Rufus, a six-year-old colored bull terrier who in 2006 won best in show at the Westminster Kennel Club competition.

The tea begins at 2:30 p.m., followed by the fashion show. Human models will accompany canine ones, all dressed in their spring finery.
