Patriots 48, Dolphins 28: In attempting to stay out of trouble, Wilfork stays out of melee

MIAMI -- A couple of weeks ago, after his meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about his repeated unsportsmanlike actions after the whistle, Vince Wilfork vowed that he had learned his lesson.
He has proved that he indeed has.
As Light was pounding on the head of Crowder and several other players from the Patriots and Dolphins were mixing it up, Wilfork stood about 10 yards away from the action, with his arms folded over his chest.
It was comical, and Wilfork was clearly trying to send the message that he wasn’t about to get involved -- Goodell told him that his next fine would also be accompanied by a suspension.
“I was not a part of that,” Wilfork said with a smile after the game. “I stepped back, walked away, put my hands up like, ‘look at me now. Get that on tape.’”
Wilfork also had a little fun earlier in the game, when he faced the Miami sideline and mocked Joey Porter’s sack dance after Brandon Meriweather’s interception that basically clinched the win.
“I like to dance. I wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine,” Wilfork said.
