Status of Adalius Thomas unknown after arm injury
09:51 PM EST on Sunday, November 9, 2008
FOXBORO -- New England may be dealing with another injury to a key player as linebacker Adalius Thomas left Sunday's game in the second quarter with an arm injury and did not return.
It is believed that the injury is to his right arm.
Thomas left the field and went back to the locker room before halftime. He was not spotted after the game.
"I don't want to speculate now," Richard Seymour said when asked about the Patriots' sack leader. "He didn't come back to the game, which is never a good thing. It's a big thing for us if he can't get out there."
Thomas, playing at outside linebacker this year, has 37 tackles (26 unassisted) and five sacks this season. He was credited with three tackles and a quarterback hit before getting hurt against Buffalo.
