A horse, of course

As an unemployed, uninsured American needing heart surgery, I'm thinking about the racehorse Barbaro. Trust me, I'm an ardent animal lover, but how many millions of dollars have been spent on this horse? How many letters and flowers have been sent to this horse? How many news stories have been done about Barbaro?
It makes me wish I'd been born a fast horse, rather than a human.
