Mitchell J. McConnell: Health care for me, not for thee
01:00 AM EDT on Monday, July 6, 2009
In President Obama’s interview with Charles Gibson of ABC, he was asked a question about how politicians often propose plans that limit the options for common people, but allow loopholes for the wealthy.
In his response, President Obama refused to rule out seeking private health care for his family, even if the public plan he is proposing limits the tests or treatments they can receive.
So just as politicians won’t allow you to have vouchers to choose the best school for your children, while they send theirs to private schools, now government-provided health care will force you into less care or worse, prevent you from paying for more care, while they themselves will continue to pay for the best care for themselves.
Have any of Obama’s supporters read Animal Farm?
