The June 10 Journal, about the firefighters and the U.S. Conference of Mayors, the impact of unions, defaults on mortgages, and the on-going battle between Vincent Cianci and WPRO personalities, almost defies description, but you managed to capture all this somehow.

The unions, especially the firefighters, are destroying Rhode Island. I could write paragraphs about this one.

If one were to dream up a novel about a former mayor and his troubles with the courts, radio talk-show hosts and misconduct elsewhere, it would never be believable.

Rhode Island owns many “firsts” in national ratings that really put us in the bottom of the heap, not the position to which we would aspire.

So sad!

One can’t choose one’s relatives, but I am glad I am not related to any of these characters.
