Robert Davis: Behind the scenes of war
01:00 AM EST on Tuesday, November 10, 2009
I was happy to see the Nov. 10 article “Documentarry filmaker puts a human face on D-Day,” about Tim Gray and his work about the sailors who piloted the landing craft that brought our soldiers ashore on D Day.
I myself was on a landing craft in Vietnam that brought supplies up the rivers in surport of our troops in the field. All too often do we see our toops on the front line but don’t think of the people behind the scenes who help make victory possible.
