Will 3rd time be charm for school board

01:00 AM EDT on Tuesday, April 5, 2005

GLOCESTER -- School officials have scheduled the third part of the Foster-Glocester School District's Regional Financial Town Meeting for April 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ponaganset High School auditorium.

Voters approved a school budget of $15.6 million last week, after failing to pass a budget at the first meeting March 15.

School officials still must determine how to handle the voters' rejection of $558,000 in debt service after the budget was approved. Voters must also approve stipends for the school school board, the clerk and treasurer.
